Infectious Bronchitis Vaccine Description
This live bivalent vaccine is formulated with two widely used infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) strains: H120 (Mass-type) and 4/91 (variant strain), providing broad-spectrum protection against both classical and emerging IBV strains.
Infectious bronchitis is a highly contagious viral disease affecting the respiratory, renal, and reproductive systems of chickens. It leads to decreased growth performance, poor feed conversion, and significant losses in egg production and quality.
The combination of H120 and 4/91 strains enables cross-protection against diverse IBV serotypes, making this vaccine particularly effective in regions where multiple variants are circulating.
Following vaccination, immunity develops rapidly within 5–8 days, making it suitable for early-stage protection in chicks. Due to the relatively short duration of immunity (approximately 2 months), booster vaccination is required to maintain effective protection throughout the production cycle.
This vaccine is ideal for broiler, layer, and breeder operations, especially in intensive poultry production systems.
