From June 28 to July 7, 2026, an expert group from the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture visited WixBio and carried out a ten-day thorough on-site audit of the company’s GMP factory. This inspection covered multiple aspects including document system review, production site checks, and technical exchanges. The expert group performed a systematic and rigorous evaluation of the factory’s quality management system, production facility operations, laboratory testing capabilities, and routine GMP implementation.
During the ten-day inspection process, all departments at WixBio worked together seamlessly with solid preparation, smooth coordination, and quick communication, ensuring the audit went smoothly. The expert group visited key areas such as production workshops, quality control laboratories, warehousing and logistics zones, and public utility systems. They carefully checked core documents like equipment validation records, batch production records, environmental monitoring data, and personnel training files, while holding in-depth discussions with the company’s quality and production teams on various technical details.
After a comprehensive assessment, the expert group gave the thumbs up to the overall operations of WixBio’s GMP factory and confirmed that it successfully passed this on-site audit. At the same time, the experts offered constructive suggestions for improvement in certain areas, providing valuable input for the company to further strengthen its quality management.
The successful completion of this on-site audit marks another big win with formal recognition of WixBio’s GMP factory quality management system by an international authoritative regulatory body. It represents a key milestone in the company’s internationalization journey in the veterinary biological products field.
